Hi! I’m Robin — the face behind Hair and Makeup by Robin!
I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 14 years, & while I’ve worked across many areas, my heart has always belonged to weddings, photoshoots, & special events. There’s something so special about being part of someone’s big day or creative vision, & I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love!
I’m a one-woman show — just me and my kits — which means every client gets a really personal experience. From the moment we start chatting about your look, my goal is to collaborate with you so you feel confident, comfortable, & completely yourself! I’m there not only to help you look your best, but also to be your calm, low-key cheerleader. I’m pretty chill by nature, but I’ll always have your back & make sure your beauty session runs smoothly. More than anything, I want you to leave feeling like the most beautiful, authentic version of yourself!
When I’m not in my creative zone, I’m at home with my husband — the love of my life- & our sweet dog, Bodhi. My ideal way to unwind? Anything Bravo (because a little reality TV drama is always relaxing!). I’m always craving the sunshine & desert heat of Palm Springs, but creatively, NYC definitely has a piece of my heart!
One of my favorite things about this industry is how much it’s always evolving. I’m constantly inspired by other creatives & love continuing to learn, grow, & push myself as an artist.
